Today I stayed home, and I played a lot of guitar. It's really fun learning how to do new songs that you previously thought that you couldn't very rewarding for sure. I finally learned how to do the chorus for There is a Light That Never Goes Out by The Smiths, and now I can play the whole song through which is super fun. I stuck my Smiths CD into my player, skipped over to track 9, and played along to it, which felt really nice. I also learned a part of Oh Tengo Suerte! by Masayoshi Tanaka, which has been very satisfying. I definitely can't play along to anything yet but I think I should be able to fully play the arpeggio part by the end of the week for sure.
I skated a little bit today too. I saw a cool video of people doing tre flips and that stuff is so awesome. I think it'd really help to see someone do it in real life. I should probably get the ollie mastered and perfected first though lol. I tend to turn 90 degrees towards the right when I hit an ollie which is very strange, but I think I'm twisting my body unconsciously which is making me hit very wonky ollies. I also put on my Vans MTE instead of my Docs and the increased grip has helped a lot. I mean I knew it would help but like, I love wearing my beat up Docs. My mom keeps saying that theres moss growing on it because its so green. I doubt it. It's not even that green. Then again, I am red-green colorblind. Who knows, I think it looks cool because you can tell that I wear my boots (which is how they're meant to function).
